I was asked the other day, by a woman in my church, if I would make a tray of sweets for a celebration for a cancer survivor in our church. She asked if I could make some fudge in the shape of one of the cancer logos. She had actually asked me to do a ribbon effect, however, something got lost in translation between my ears and my brain, and I thought she said heart. But, it all ended well, and everything was well received.
This platter consists of brown sugar fudge, again, shaped into a heart, surrounded by peanut butter balls. I designed the heart, indented on the left side, with Mr. House Pretty's cutting skills. I also used enough food coloring to make the fudge as pink as I dared. I was concerned that if I used too much food coloring, it would come out a rather strange color. You can always add more coloring, but you can never take any out, unfortunately!
This display could also be made for many other occasions, such as St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day, or a multitude of others. Your only limitations are your imagination!
Have you ever designed anything with food?
